Reston, Virginia

Founded in 1964, Reston was the first planned community built in Virginia.  The founding principles of the community were “Live, Work, Play, and Get Involved.”  These values are still alive in Reston today, and earned the community the distinction of being named a “Best Place to Live” in Virginia by Money Magazine.  Fast-growing Reston is known for its popular Town Center with excellent shopping and dining venues.   In 2019 the Silver Line of the Washington Metro opened a station in Reston, allowing residents an easy commute directly into the city.
